The mining shaft towers are true icons of Beringen's mining past. Lighting with different lighting scenarios, adapted to the time of year, enhances its presence in the night-time landscape.

The mining shaft towers dominate the scene with metal lattice structures and shapes, icons of Beringen’s heritage, integral to the colliery’s unique character.

Lighting boosts their geometry, ensuring efficiency and sustainability: Narrow beam projectors near the main pillars’ bases, emphasize verticality and structural depth; floods ensure cost-effectiveness and low-maintenance, crucial preservation factors.

Minimizing eco-impact, lighting is carefully focused and at full capacity only in early darkness, ensuring significant nocturnal presence, while answering eco-concerns and the site’s historical story.
