Founded in 2024, LOOMIT is an independent architectural lighting design firm based in Bologna and Milan, Italy. It brings together the expertise and professionalism of its founders:

• Susanna Antico, independent lighting designer since 1995 (formerly Susanna Antico Lighting Design Studio)
• Samuel Vespo, senior lighting designer since 2008

LOOMIT provides full spectrum lighting design services, from one-off consultations & concept development to fully realized & documented lighting solutions, using both standard & custom products.

LOOMIT’S multidisciplinary team brings extensive experience in architecture, urban planning, lighting technology, industrial design, visual communication & human-centric lighting applications. We approach each project with a deep understanding of how light interacts with space & impacts people in their environments.

Fluent in multiple languages, our partners & staff seamlessly manage projects worldwide, minimizing communication barriers.

We use light as a medium to enhance spaces, reveal their potential, create visual interest, shape atmospheres & ensure comfort, safety & security. Our goal is to craft harmonious & coherent nightscapes that enrich the human experience & elevate the built environment.

LOOMIT provides lighting design services across all architectural fields, with a particular focus on outdoor projects. For over three decades, we have been developing urban lighting projects & creating city-wide lighting masterplans.
